O.K., One More Fast Forward

Let us all be thankful for the intelligence of our country to vote for change in the administration; let us be thankful that we still have the hope of freedom; let us be thankful for all the grace and blessings we have received in the past. Let us not take any of these things for granted or that we have them because we deserve them. Let us move forward with intelligence and compassion, and let us have a

And a Happy Thanksgiving to you, too. I am thankful the plumbers are here making my kitchen sink usable just in time for the holiday. I am thankful I get to use a fantastic new printer at work that makes my job considerably easier. I am thankful my family is healthy (and reasonably happy, I hope). And I am thankful to not be living through IL winters!

That's just the beginning of a long list of things for which I offer thanks.

You see, it's the little things (based on one's perspective) that make such a difference. A kitchen sink is so important, but often taken for granted. I am so happy for you. The other problem I usually encounter with incoming visitors is a toilet blockage. BUT, not yet this year.

See you tomorrow.

(How much cleaning did you think I would do?)

i'm thankful that thanksgiving was held at brat's house this year and in an odd way i'm thankful that the men decided to behave like children and stay home. it allowed three generations of females to hang out and thoroughly enjoy themselves without having to make sure that the boys behaved/stayed entertained.
i'm even more thankful that i participated in this years presidential election, and prayerful that he will have the wisdom and skill to lead us in the direction we need to go in.

Hey, Heather,
Glad to hear from you, and I do understand your sentiments regarding the holiday. There were just four of us here, and the females were in the lead, 3-1. I don't think he minded as 2/3 of us had cooked outstandingly, and he didn't even suggest football on TV but opted for a movie that our little one could enjoy. It was a peaceful, stuffed day.

We all echo your sentiments re the pres. elect; guess we just have to remember he will be president, not the miracle worker. I truly believe we'll all have to work hard and endure. Take care, you.
