THAKSGIVING, YES!

SOMETIMES, we just get too busy to write something that encompasses what the heart feels, so I'm borrowing from another blogger. But don't miss what I previously posted because that's part of my thanksgiving too. Have a happy, thankful day.

I thoroughly enjoyed the past several months of that blog. I noticed the author says she is from Texas. Is this a friend of yours?

No, I don't know her---just feel a spiritual kinship.

I definitely feel a political kinship. Wish I could flat out say what she says while I am at work, but the crude language is not really appropriate to the setting. And I realize stating my views is not likely to change those of others in this case, so it's not really worth engaging the conversation.

Thanks! I will add that great blog to my list. Lately I've been looking at thisiswhyyourefat.com. I say looking at because there's not much reading involved. Helen is worth ready though. I love it.

By the way, what the H.E.Double-hockey-sticks is that a picture of? One of those salmon aspic things?

That would be Gehakte Leber---let Paul translate. The recipe is from a Jewish cookbook, an estate sale find. I made it for my Bible study group a couple of months ago. It will not be on any of the holiday menus however. It is really good.

I can attest to the taste. It was delightful!

I knew it wasn't the Deep Sea Salmon Loaf--but I wasn't sure what it was. The photo clearly doesn't do the flavor justice.
